Capital FM Arena Nottingham is working with a new ticketing provider in 2012 to support the continued growth of the business.
The 10,000 capacity entertainment venue will now be working in partnership with AudienceView Ticketing – a leading provider of advanced and flexible ticketing services to venues worldwide.
The Arena, which is housed within the National Ice Centre complex, will work with AudienceView to enhance the customer experience using cutting edge ticketing technologies such as social networking integration and mobile ticketing.
This new partnership allows the entire venue to manage all its ticketing requirements in-house and gives customers the ability to buy tickets across all areas of the business in one quick and easy transaction, from concert and show tickets, to GMB Nottingham Panthers ice hockey tickets to public ice skating sessions.
Martin Ingham, Deputy Chief Executive at the Capital FM Arena said: “We are looking forward to working with AudienceView to ensure anyone who books a ticket with us has the best possible customer journey, from the moment they decide to purchase a ticket to the point they arrive at the venue. We have been impressed by the flexibility of the AudienceView system and its ability to offer us the platform we require for our unique business needs ranging from Arena shows to ice sports ticketing.
“We have enjoyed working with See Tickets for the last ten years and have had a fruitful ticketing partnership that has taken the venue from its start-up through ten years of continuous ticketing growth. However, the new relationship with AudienceView will enable us to further strengthen our ticketing provision. We aim to deliver service improvements through the benefits offered by AudienceView’s sophisticated ticketing software technologies combined with our own in-house staff expertise to provide an excellent, secure, transparent and accessible ticketing service that exceeds our customers’ expectations.”
“We are thrilled that the Capital FM Arena Nottingham has selected AudienceView as its ticketing technology provider,” said Jeff Koets, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AudienceView. “This agreement is further proof that our flexible solution is the perfect fit for the arena sector, as well as organizations that operate multiple venues. We are very much looking forward to working with Martin and his team to deliver our leading-edge ticketing technology, which will help to grow their business and improve the patron experience.”
The new ticketing system will be up and running at the Capital FM Arena Nottingham in summer 2012.
