Skating legends Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean will embark on a sixth live UK tour of Dancing on Ice this April, including four dates at Capital FM Arena Nottingham on 20 – 22 April 2012.
Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden and Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment have been confirmed as the latest celebrities to perform at Capital FM Arena Nottingham as part of the Dancing on Ice Live Tour 2012. Other celebrities confirmed for the tour are Sugababe singer Heidi Range, X Factor singer Chico and reigning Dancing on Ice champion and actor Sam Attwater.
Matthew Wolfenden is famous for playing David Metcalfe in Emmerdale. He is used to performing in front of cameras and audiences, and has now managed to impress the TV judging panel with his skating partner Nina Ulanova and achieve some of the highest scores of the current series, quickly becoming one of the show’s front-runners to win.
Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment is known for playing Kirk Sutherland in Coronation Street and Darren in The Royle Family. Andy won a British Soap Award in 2003 for Best Comedy Performance and continues to use his natural comedic skills on the ice. Proving a favourite with the TV audiences and judges alike, he will make a great addition to the star-studded and exciting live shows.
Sugababes singer Heidi Range has performed at some of the UK’s biggest music venues and, with skating partner Andrei Lipanov, her winning smile and increasing confidence has gained her high scores on the ITV1 show every Sunday night.
