The Nottingham Food and Drink festival kicks off on Thursday 23rd September and sees a whole host of celebrity chefs pulling on their aprons in the city.
Popular Italian chef and I’m a Celebrity winner Gino D’Acampo will open the event in the Celebrity Chef’s Theatre in Old Market Square.
The Festival will run until Sunday 26th September when family favourite Ainsley Harriott makes his Nottingham debut.
The Festival will also feature demos from Great British Menu representatives Atul Kochhar and local talent Sat Bains, as well as Caribbean chef and big personality Momma Cherri.
It’s not just famous faces cooking up a storm in Nottingham, there will also be a regional food and drink market, a stage where you can learn culinary skills and techniques, events in venues across the city and a whole host of special food and drink offers.
If that wasn’t enough the city centre restaurants, who organise the event, have also laid on a free hospitality area in Old Market Square where you can come along and enjoy free food samples and tasters.
