Trent FM Arena Nottingham has joined forces with Trent FM to host ‘The Future Sound of Nottingham’ competition, which gives local acts the opportunity to perform here at the Arena on Sunday July 4th as part of the venue’s 10th Anniversary celebrations.
The top five ‘Future Sound of Nottingham’ bands/artists will be voted for online by Trent FM listeners from a shortlist of ten selected by the judges.
The winning band will then perform at Nottingham’s Splendour Festival, at Wollaton Park on Saturday 24th July.
With headliners including The Pet Shop Boys, Calvin Harris, Noisettes, Athlete, Shed Seven, Terrorvision and Talvin Singh, the festival is the biggest of its kind in Nottingham.
