




Transport Links
Getting to and from our venue is simple, thanks to Nottingam's excellent transport links:
Road
Nottingham has good road links into the city locally and from the M1 located 12 miles to the west, with three M1 junctions routing into the city. The National Ice Centre is signposted within the city centre.
Rail
Nottingham Railway Station is a mainline station with Express services from London, Birmingham and other major cities. Just a 10 minute walk from the venue, coming from the station follow signs to the Lace Market. For timetable information visit National Rail Enquiries.
Bus
Nottingham has two main bus stations, Broadmarsh and Victoria, each of which are a 10 minute walk from the centre. For national connections please visit National Express or Nottingham City Transport for local services. The city also operates two park & ride routes with stops within five minutes walk from the National Ice Centre, as well as a 24hour Skylink shuttle service from East Midlands Airport.
Tram
Nottingham’s state-of-the-art tram system passes close to the National Ice Centre. The ‘Lace Market’ stop on the route to and from the railway station is just five minutes walk. Trams run from Nottingham Station at least every 10 minutes until midnight (more frequent at peak times), for more information visit Nottingham Express Transit.
Air
East Midlands Airport is only 13 miles from the venue, just 40 minutes drive. A shuttle bus service runs 24 hours every half an hour from the airport to the city centre at a cost of £5.
Taxi
Taxi cabs are available outside the National Ice Centre on Lower Parliament Street and throughout the city at numerous designated taxi ranks, Nottingham is served by a large number of black hackney cabs. Executive private hire cars and limousines are also available.
Parking
There are numerous car parks within walking distance of the National Ice Centre, all of which are clearly signposted on the main approach roads. Parking can be arranged in advance on request at preferential rates, including ticketless car parking using number plate recognition.
There is a dedicated disabled car park next to the National Ice Centre on Dean Street run by Nottingham City Council for blue badge holders on a first come first serve basis, as well as disabled spaces in all nearby car parks.
