Rail
Nottingham Train Station is a 10 minute walk from the venue. Follow signs which direct you to the Lace Market and keep your eye out for grey signs which are dotted en route to the “National Ice Centre”. Click here for directions on Google Maps. Northern Rail offers regular local and regional train services between Leeds and Nottingham. Click here to visit the Northern website.
East Midlands Trains operate regular trains to and from Nottingham.
Bus
Nottingham has two main bus stations, Broadmarsh and Victoria, each of which are a 10 minute walk from the centre. Again, follow the signs to the Lace Market and keep an eye out for the grey signs. Several Nottingham City Transport (NCT) bus services drop you right outside the Arena – please check their website for more details of routes and services available. Tram
Nottingham’s state-of-the-art tram system passes really close to the Capital FM Arena Nottingham. The ‘Lace Market’ stop on Fletcher Gate is a three minute walk away. Trams run at least every 10 minutes until midnight (more frequent at peak times). In addition there are five free Park and Ride sites on the system. An all-day tram ticket costs just £3.20. Air
East Midlands Airport is a 45 minute drive from the venue. The Skylink bus service operates from East Midlands Airport direct to Nottingham up to every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Families of up to five adults can travel on the family ticket priced at £10 return. Adults can travel for £5 single or £7 return.
Taxi
Taxis are available outside the Capital FM Arena Nottingham on Lower Parliament Street and throughout the city at designated taxi ranks. A free phone connected to a local taxi provider is located in the atrium.
24 Hour Travel
The East Midlands Airport Skylink bus network provides 24 hour bus services to Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough and Leicester. If you are experiencing difficulties travelling home, it is possible to travel on the Nottingham Skylink to the airport where you can connect onto the Skylink bus network.
