The Capital FM Arena Nottingham (formerly the Trent FM Arena Nottingham) provides the East Midlands with a top quality indoor sports, entertainment and conference venue right in the heart of the £43 million National Ice Centre and in the city’s fashionable Lace Market.

We do our utmost to ensure that neither by action nor inaction will any individual or group be unreasonably excluded from any activities, facilities, or services offered.

The Capital FM Arena Nottingham is easily accessible for visitors with accessibility needs and mobility difficulties. We’ve also just achieved our “Attitude is Everything” Charter of Best Practice accreditation at silver level. We have lifts with Braille signage and hearing loops. Increasing Website Text Size

Some users might find screen text easier to read by increasing the size at which text is displayed. To do this you should simply adjust your browser’s settings.

  • If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to the View menu, select Text Size and then either Larger or Largest.
  • If you use Firefox, go to the View menu, select Text Size and then either Increase Ctrl + +, Decrease Ctrl + – or Normal Ctrl + 0.
  • If you use Opera, go to the Tools menu, select Preferences then click on the Web pages tab. Select the normal font button. A dialogue box appears and provides options to increase/decrease font size, font type, weight and style.
  • If you use Netscape Navigator, go to the View menu and choose Increase Font until the text is the size you require.
Changing Places Toilet

Capital FM Arena Nottingham is the first Arena in the UK to benefit from new facilities to ensure the venue is more accessible for all!

Our Changing Places toilet includes the following facilities:

  • A mobile height adjustable changing bench
  • A ceiling track hoist system to lift people between wheelchairs and the toilet/changing bench
  • Enough space to ensure the bench and toilet can be approached from either side

For Health and Safety reasons we do not provide slings. Customers are asked to bring their own which should be compatible with the loop system.
This facility is located on Level 3 and is available from 9.00am to 11.00pm. During the hours of 9.00am to 9.00pm please contact Box Office located on Level 2 before using this facility. During the hours of 9.00pm to 11.00pm please contact the nearest member of staff before using this facility. A RADAR key is available upon request.

Wheelchair Access

Wheelchair access to the Arena is either via the entrance doors on Bolero Square or via the lift from Lower Parliament Street. Once inside the venue there are lifts to all floors, disabled toilet facilities and wide walkways for wheelchair users. There are specific seats available for disabled customers, please call our box office on 0843 373 3000 Option1, Option 2, Option 3 (Mon-Sun, 9am-9pm) to book.

Hearing Assistance

A hearing assistance system is installed within the Arena bowl for customers with hearing difficulties which is accessed via infra-red headsets. Customers can borrow a headset from Box Office for use during an event. Hearing loops are also installed at our Box Office. Parking

There is a public disabled car park right next to the Arena on Dean Street. Operated by Nottingham City Council, spaces are operated on a first come first serve basis and can’t be booked. There are also a few disabled parking spaces on Barker Gate.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome at the Capital FM Arena Nottingham but please be aware that noise levels can be high during concerts and other events. Please let our Box Office know if an assistance dog will be accompanying you to an event.
